Mac3 Sequencer is a DIN rail mounted device which balances the run-time of 2 or 3 pumps depending on model in a duty-standby/assist configuration.
Pumps are alternated during normal usage, but allows the controller to activate both pumps together if there is a sudden demand.
The Sequencer can be deployed with a single pressure switch and float switch, or with two pressure switches and a float switch. The twin pressure switch solution allows the one pressure switch to function for regular pump control, while the second acts as an‘emergency switch’ allowing both pumps to be activated together when demand cannot be met by a single pump.

The sequencer is available in different models:

• Sequencer – In rail mounted device which balances the run-time or 2 pumps in a duty-standby/assist configuration.
• Sequencer 2 – Is has the same characteristics and functionality as the sequencer with the added LED’s for visualising faults.
• Sequencer 2q – It has the same characteristics and functions as the sequencer with the addition of a panel containing two switches for pump operation and seven LED diodes that always show the system status.

Note: The above models Tare with either 24Vac or 110/230Vac supply (no 24vdc version is available) – please see brochure. They provide pressure/level switch inputs at 2vac and optional float switch at 24vdc to enhance safety.

Mac3 Sensopress is a programmable, DIN rail mounted level controller and is ideal for integration with OEM and panel built products.

Sensopress measures the level of liquid in a tank or reservoir using a high accurate pressure sensor which detects the weight of fluid above it. Pumps and valves can be controlled to fill, empty or maintain levels by Sensopress based on the reading of a single sensor with no mechanical movement.

Sensopress avoids the need for technicians to accurately set floats or sensors at various heights within the tank in order to operate pumps and valves at the right levels. All levels and functions can be precisely set from the control panel.

Sensopress can function with any liquid using a probe and can be manually calibrated to accept probes of different ranges.

Sensopress is available in single channel and multi-channel models. The single channel model is supplied with a single output for controlling one external appliance, whereas the multi-channel is supplied with 4 outputs.

Each output channel operates independently and may overlap in range.

Advantages

Mac3 Electroprobe Q is a multifunctional level controller with 1 fixed function. The Differential Fill/Drain Function, activates a relay output to maintain the level between two probes set at different heights. The relay only changes state when either the upper probe becomes immersed or the lower probe becomes dry, allowing the water level to move between but not exceed the area between the two level probes.

3 conductivity probes are used, a common electrode is always immersed and 2 electrodes above this level form low and high set points allowing Electroprobe Q to maintain a the level within a specific range.

Electroprobe Q is commonly used with water and other fluids with dependable conductivity, there are 3 main models available:

Mac3 Electroprobe EV is a family of DIN rail mounted level controllers. Electroprobe EV operates between 2 level probes set at different levels within the tank, plus a common probe (always immersed). DIN rail-mounted unit, that measures a rainwater tank level using a submerged pressure sensor (not included) and either tops up with a measured amount of mains water (direct systems with submerged pump), or opens a 3-way motorized valve (indoor break tank & pump systems) when required.

When a low-level threshold is reached, RainControl opens a solenoid or motorised valve to supply mains water until a high-level threshold is reached. After this, RainControl de-activates the output and reverts to level display mode.

Advantages

An anti-blocking timer function allows the valve to be scheduled to open periodically regardless of the tank level, to prevent jamming.

All of the thresholds for high and low water levels can be set by the installer, calibrating the unit to whatever installation the unit is connected to.

Pump Control/Protection Panel of a single submersible pump. Options for Single Phase or Three Phase. This Controller can function in either an automatic or manual configuration.

The Quadri can control up to two pumps, and is able to balance the workload by alternating the starts of each pump (unless demand requires both pumps be activated simultaneously). The Quadri uses float switches/level probes and/or pressure switches to determine if single or both pumps are required.

The Quadri can run in three modes:

• Boosting
• Storage
• Sewage

Boosting allows the Quadri to function with a pressure boosting system, using both probes and pressure switches to monitor and run pumps when a pressure or level drop is detected.

Storage allows the Quadri to monitor the levels in two tanks, and function as a level controller.

Sewage allows the Quadri to use float switches to determine levels inside a tank and pump according to the parameters set by the installer.

Application

The Mac3 3F Controls are a DIN socket mounted, adjustable under-voltage monitoring and protection relays intended for use in control panels.

Mod.22 is Single Phase.

Mod.33 is Three phase with additional phase loss protection.

Advantages

Low voltage leads to increased current and excess heat generation in induction motors causing damage or reducing the life of coils and bearings. Low voltage may be caused by poorly functioning generators, and other temporary power systems, inadequate cable sizing especially temporary wiring or wiring in remote locations such as outbuildings, or poorly specified over-current protection allowing a circuit to be loaded by other appliances beyond it’s proper capacity. Hence under-voltage protection helps to protect important appliances from premature failure avoiding expensive down-time.

Benefits

Both 3F Controls isolate the system if:

• The system voltage drops up to 2.5% of the set value for more than 2 seconds, or
• The system voltage drops more than 2.5% of the set value at all.

A 2 second delay, built into the relay, ensures temporary voltage drops in the electricity supply do not trip the system, while preventing potential pump damage should the condition continue.

The 3F Control Mod. 33 also monitors for phase loss and incorrect phase rotation. This can be due to wiring the phases incorrectly or issues arising from the supply itself, but either condition will cause the 3F Control Mod. 33 to isolate the system until the error is rectified.
