The new Mac3 AgmaW EVO is a compact wastewater float switch alternative, designed to be fitted vertically to a submersible pump. Unlike the previous model (Agma W) the EVO operates at an angle of +/- 20° from vertical. When used for pump control, Agma W EVO activates a connected pump when the water levels are high enough for pump use, and deactivates the pump when the water level has decreased to the set minimum.

It has a magnetic float that moves vertically in response to the water level. The float activates a sealed microswitch (housed in the top blue section) which turns the pump on or off.

AgmaW EVO is designed for clean water, sewage, flood water and water containing solids and debris. Avoid using in water containing iron or other ferrous materials as these may affect operation.

It is IP68 rated ensuring effective protection against water and moisture ingress.

Clean Water Level Sensor – Agma 22

Application

Float switch alternative for tight spaces. Designed to be fitted to a submersible pump.

Typical uses include pumps designed for:

Flood prevention sumps
Small water tanks
Narrow wells
Irregular shaped tanks
Tanks, sumps or wells with pipes or other obstructions inside

Advantages

Ideal for pumps deployed in small sumps or flood drainage crates.

Benefits

Provides automatic operation in tight places where a float switch cannot be relied upon
Directly controls pumps up to 8A
Suitable for clean water with a very low solid content

Float Switch Alternative – Reka Compact

Application

Particularly suitable for Header Tanks, Shallow Tanks and confined spaces where there is not enough space for the movement of a traditional Float Switch.

Suitable for Tank filling or maximum level control, high-level alarms or Flood Water detection.

Advantages

A capacitive sensor, integrated into the plastic structure, makse the Reka suitable for a wide range of liquids. It can be operated by battery or mains electricity and because of it’s internal relay 10 (4) it is able to control pumps of up to 4A or a resistive load of up to 10A at max 250VAC (1HP).

Benefits

The Reka can be easily installed near the pump. Two screw holes at either side near the top of the unit allow it to be fasten within a tank for level control, or against a wall or step for flood monitoring. The models with 12V or 24V power supply with delayed ON/OFF are particularly suitable for marine use.
