Application

The QuickStop Advance valve can be used in both a passive gravity fed or pumped system. Suitable for filling tanks, cisterns or troughs for livestock. Designed as a replacement to conventional ballcock valves in water tanks to protect booster pumps.

  Advantages

QuickStop Advance has a very high flow rate allowing rapid filling with minimal pressure loss. The QuickStop goes instantly from fully open to fully closed.

The arm on this Adjustable version can be easily altered by both length and mounting angle to set where the float sits relative to the regulator. Setting these two points allows for precise control of when the regulator is opened or closed by the movement of the float.

  Benefits

This Hydraulically actuated valve is of particular use in pumped systems as it prevents repeated stop/start cycling of pumps when filling tanks or cisterns. The valve allows a high flow rate to the pump immediately. The potential for damage to the pump from overheating or running dry is therefore prevented. The efficiency and running costs of the system are reduced by not having a pump running at full power while delivering a low volume of water.
